Westcon-Comstor has signed an agreement with CrowdStrike that empowers channel partners in Europe to seize new growth opportunities by leveraging a streamlined and simplified route to market for the industry-leading CrowdStrike Falcon cybersecurity platform on AWS Marketplace.

Westcon-Comstor’s latest collaboration with CrowdStrike enables partners across Europe to tap into CrowdStrike’s robust AWS Marketplace relationship, which has been fuelled by the popularity of products including Falcon Endpoint Security, CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security and CrowdStrike Falcon Identity Protection. Partners are now able to purchase CrowdStrike from Westcon-Comstor via private listings and then sell directly to their customers as part of a seamless, end-to-end process entirely within AWS Marketplace.

Harnessing its cloud marketplace expertise, Westcon-Comstor will guide partners through AWS Marketplace setup, training and enablement as part of its advisory and consulting services. The distributor will also help partners to secure authorised Channel Partner Private Offer (CPPO) status.

With a recent Canalys report projecting that more than 50% of hyperscaler marketplace sales will come via channel partners by 2027, Westcon-Comstor is scaling its AWS Marketplace programme to meet growing demand. A new, dedicated team will focus purely on enabling partners to grow their AWS Marketplace business.

The agreement between CrowdStrike and Westcon-Comstor signifies a broadening strategic partnership, with long-held distribution agreements in place in multiple key markets in Europe and beyond.

Westcon-Comstor was named the 2024 CrowdStrike Global Distributor Partner of the Year, earning the recognition for its outstanding performance in driving adoption of the CrowdStrike Falcon cybersecurity platform by leveraging its network of 12,000-plus channel partners across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC).

The distributor recently added AWS integrations to its 3D Lab, enabling partners to experience the combined power of native AWS services and solutions from CrowdStrike and other cybersecurity vendors in a dynamic, secure virtual demo environment.

“We’re excited to be broadening the scope of our strategic relationship with CrowdStrike through this agreement,” said Rene Klein, Executive Vice President, Europe at Westcon-Comstor. “AWS Marketplace makes it easy for businesses to find, test, buy and deploy software, to the extent that it’s reshaping the procurement behaviour of end-users from enterprises to SMBs. Enabling partners to capitalise on this trend creates huge opportunities across the value chain, while cementing the role of the channel in the cloud marketplace economy.”

“CrowdStrike’s relationship with AWS continues to transform how organisations and partners build and secure their businesses in the cloud,” said John Taylor, VP of Alliances, Europe at CrowdStrike. “Our collaboration with Westcon-Comstor is an exciting next step, empowering channel partners to drive growth and success on AWS Marketplace while enabling customers to seamlessly adopt and standardise on the industry-leading Falcon platform.”
