Dell Technologies and TD SYNNEX launch AI Labs In Germany, France and UK

Collaboration between Dell and TD SYNNEX gives channel partners access to AI solutions, testing environments and co-innovation opportunities to speed up go-to-market strategies.

Dell Technologies, in strategic collaboration with global IT distributor TD SYNNEX, has opened Dell AI Labs in Germany and France with a third lab scheduled to be opened in the UK before the end of this year. These purpose-built innovation hubs are designed to fast-track the development and adoption of enterprise-grade artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.

The labs will be based at TD SYNNEX facilities and will serve as regional centers of excellence. Dell’s customers and partners across Europe, can leverage the lab to rapidly test and validate AI Proof-of-Concepts; explore next-generation AI applications, including Agentic Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG); co-innovate with AI experts and solution architects and access pre-configured, scalable infrastructure to accelerate go-to-market efforts.

The first lab, launched in Munich, Germany, is developed in collaboration with appliedAI Initiative, a key partner specializing in the end-to-end implementation of enterprise AI solutions and turning advanced hardware into functional AI factories. appliedAI brings its deep expertise in areas like Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and GenAI orchestration to this initiative.

The Dell AI Labs in Germany and France will be fully operational and available to customers and partners for AI solutions testing from September 2025.

Why It Matters

As the demand for intelligent, context-aware applications intensifies across industries, the AI journey is as complex as it is promising, and businesses are grappling with the complexity of deploying AI responsibly and at scale. According to a Dell Technologies survey, 82% of organizations are seeing substantial ROI or productivity gains from their current AI initiatives. However, many still lack the ability to effectively scale these technologies with 93% citing that they experience challenges when integrating AI/GenAI into their business strategies.

Dell AI Labs directly address these pain points by offering a safe, structured environment where businesses can test, validate and optimize their AI models before deployment. Whether it's refining generative models, exploring Agentic RAG capabilities, or integrating AI into customer-facing applications, the labs accelerate AI adoption while mitigating risk.

A cornerstone of the AI Lab experience is Agentic RAG - an architecture that enables real-time data retrieval and autonomous decision-making. Powered by Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA, this next-gen framework helps businesses unify structured and unstructured data, streamline operations, enhance decision-making and secure modular deployment to support diverse use cases and sectors.

By combining Dell’s powerful infrastructure, NVIDIA’s industry-leading accelerated compute, high-performance networking, and AI software and curated partner solutions, Dell AI Labs aim to speed-up the development and deployment of enterprise-grade AI. Each lab is powered by Dell PowerEdge R760 servers with dual NVIDIA Hopper GPUs, NVIDIA BlueField-3 DPU, NVIDIA Spectrum-X networking, high-performance Dell PowerScale F210 storage and the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software stack. This setup ensures a ready-to-deploy platform for demanding AI workloads, tailored for sectors including finance, healthcare, government, retail and manufacturing.

Through a joint initiative with TD SYNNEX, the labs are also equipped with pre-configured workflows and demo assets in collaboration with Symbian, Mistral and other AI technology partners. Dell’s channel partners can also get hands-on training and guidance, combined with customizable, data-powered POCs that accelerate customer adoption.
