Wipro Limited, a recognised leader in technology services and consulting, has unveiled an extended partnership with CrowdStrike to introduce their latest innovation: Wipro CyberShieldSM MDR. This AI-powered Managed Security Service (MSS) aims to revolutionise enterprise security operations by simplifying processes and enhancing security measures across the board.

In today's fast-paced digital landscape, organisations grapple with an overwhelming influx of alerts stemming from disjointed security tools. These tools often fall short in effectively counteracting adversarial threats. The fragmented nature of security operations spanning endpoints, cloud workloads, identity, and data often exacerbates this issue, increasing costs and creating operational blind spots.

Wipro's CyberShield MDR, backed by CrowdStrike Falcon® Next-Gen SIEM, directly tackles these challenges. The service enhances threat visibility, streamlines operations, and solidifies resilience in the face of evolving cyber threats. By integrating native Falcon platform capabilities with external third-party data, the SIEM solution empowers organisations with real-time threat intelligence and AI-driven automation.

Through Wipro's expansive global ecosystem and strategic collaborations, including Wipro Ventures' investments in Simbian and Tuskira, CyberShield MDR ensures intelligent defence, proactive breach prevention, continuous detection, and swift response mechanisms. Eight strategically located Cyber Defence Centres (CDCs) will house Wipro's cybersecurity experts, who will manage and deliver these services globally.

Senior Vice President and Global Head of Cybersecurity & Risk Services at Wipro Limited, Tony Buffomante, emphasises the significance of this development in containing threats swiftly and maintaining digital operational continuity. He highlights the platform's ability to automate workflows, prevent lateral threat movement, and plug potential security gaps that isolated solutions might overlook, thereby reinforcing enterprises' digital fortitude.

“The Falcon platform supercharges Wipro’s CyberShield Managed Security Services to deliver real-time attack detection, faster response and outcomes that stop breaches,” said Daniel Bernard, Chief Business Officer, CrowdStrike. “Together, we’re simplifying operations across Wipro’s ecosystem of partners — reducing costs, accelerating time-to-value and giving customers the confidence to stay ahead of today’s adversaries.”
