Payara Services, a prominent force in enterprise Java technologies, has taken a significant step forward by aligning Payara Cloud with Payara Qube, the Java application deployment runtime. Reflecting their evolution to meet enterprise demands, these solutions now offer customers a unified platform for deploying and running all enterprise Java workloads seamlessly.

The newly advanced Payara Qube platform presents a Java-focused runtime environment endowed with monitoring, logging, and scaling capabilities. This distinct solution promises organisations a simplified DevOps process, enabling full visibility over tech stacks, cost savings, and reduced modernisation risks.

The merger of Payara Cloud and Payara Qube is a natural progression, showcasing their expanded features. Under the cohesive Payara Qube brand, Payara Cloud is rebranded as Payara Qube (Managed), offering broader compatibility across Jakarta EE, Spring, and Quarkus frameworks. Meanwhile, the self-managed version is simply Payara Qube (Self-Hosted), catering to users preferring local control over their application environments.

Centralising these offerings under Payara Qube simplifies the decision-making process for customers, presenting a consistent and interoperable foundation. A notable advancement is the immediate online trial feature of Payara Qube Managed, allowing users instant testing of its capabilities. This consolidation reaffirms Payara's commitment to supporting Java teams and modernising cloud strategies.

Louise Castens, the Head of Product, expressed the company's dedication to enhancing enterprise Java through a unified and future-proof platform. She noted Payara Qube represents flexibility and cost-effectiveness, ensuring customers know they're investing in a cohesive solution that simplifies decision-making.
