Westcon-Comstor, a global distributor specialising in cybersecurity, networking, and hybrid cloud solutions, has signed a distribution agreement with Meter. The deal makes Westcon-Comstor Meter’s first distributor across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

The agreement enables channel partners in the region to access Meter’s networking platform, which supports onboarding and deployment through a full-stack networking model delivered as a service.

By adding Meter to its vendor portfolio, Westcon-Comstor is providing partners with another route to address new opportunities and offer subscription-based networking services. The model is designed to support recurring revenue without requiring partners to invest in additional skills or go-to-market resources.

Westcon-Comstor plans to scale adoption of Meter’s Networking-as-a-Service (NaaS) offering through its enablement services, including training, education and data-led insights to support partners across the solution lifecycle.

Founded in California in 2015, Meter provides a unified networking offering that combines hardware, software and managed services within a single subscription.

Meter’s pricing model is based on a customer’s site size rather than individual devices, aiming to make costs more predictable and remove the need for upfront capital expenditure.

Meter uses a vertically integrated, full-stack approach to deliver enterprise networks for organisations with distributed environments, including those in retail, logistics and higher education.

The service includes co-managed deployment, ongoing support and lifecycle upgrades. Its architecture integrates switching, Wi-Fi, unified security and power under a single operating system for enterprise networking environments.

The agreement adds Meter to Westcon-Comstor’s EMEA networking portfolio and extends Meter’s channel reach across the region.
