BMG and Iron Mountain partner on workplace transformation

BMG partners with Iron Mountain to enhance workplace transformation, aiming to blend physical moves and information governance into one service.

Business Moves Group (BMG) has partnered with Iron Mountain to provide an integrated workplace transformation service that combines physical moves, asset management, and information governance under a single provider.

The collaboration addresses challenges faced by organisations managing hybrid work environments. Insights from WORKTECH Academy’s World of Work 2026 report highlight that workplaces are evolving toward flexible, performance-focused environments, with organisations needing to adapt while managing complex supply chains and regulatory requirements.

Through this partnership, BMG extends its workplace transformation capability to include records management, digitisation programmes, compliant retention schedules, and secure information storage. The combined service allows organisations to consolidate suppliers, improve visibility over assets and information, and strengthen governance in line with regulatory, security, and ESG standards.

Rachel Houghton, managing director at Business Moves Group, said: “Our partnership with Iron Mountain means we can now support clients through the full lifecycle of workplace change – from strategy and planning through to long-term asset and information governance. It’s about bringing everything under one roof, so our clients have a single point of accountability and consistent standards throughout."

Bernadette Wightman, CEO UK & Ireland at Iron Mountain, added: “By combining our information management expertise with BMG’s workplace delivery capability, we’re giving organisations a joined-up solution that reduces risk and delivers measurable outcomes."

This collaboration provides a consolidated approach for organisations navigating hybrid workspaces, complex supply chains, and regulatory requirements, supporting more streamlined and consistent workplace management.
