Forescout Technologies has introduced Forescout VistaroAI, a platform designed to support proactive cybersecurity in environments facing increasing threats. With adversaries using agentic and generative AI techniques and the potential emergence of post-quantum computing threats, security teams require visibility into changes and guidance on prioritised actions rather than only alerts and dashboards.

VistaroAI is designed to operate as an automated security support system rather than a traditional chatbot. It removes the need for prompt engineering and instead applies predefined workflows and role-based automation. The goal is to provide risk assessments and contextual information in a structured format to support decision-making.

Each day, VistaroAI provides users with a personalised view of tasks based on their organisation’s environment. Tasks are prioritised with associated context to enable action. Rather than reviewing data from multiple tools independently, teams can identify changes in their environment, assess their relevance, and determine the appropriate response steps.

Forescout describes VistaroAI as a skills-based agentic AI solution developed for cybersecurity use cases. Built on existing expertise, the system analyses changes in environments, identifies potential root causes, assesses impact, and delivers contextual risk evaluations. It is intended to support structured, role-based workflows across security operations.

Key capabilities include:

  • Context-driven task prioritisation: Daily task views with defined next steps
  • Visibility into changes: Identification of new assets, risk shifts, and emerging threats
  • Action-oriented insights: Explanations of impact and root causes with suggested actions
  • Detailed investigations: Ability to examine underlying causes of risk changes and review affected devices before taking action
  • Human oversight: Actions can be reviewed, approved, and executed with governance controls

VistaroAI operates as a closed-loop system within customer environments, integrating telemetry and intelligence to generate recommendations. The platform tailors guidance to specific roles, including network operators, security analysts, security operations centre (SOC) analysts, biomedical engineers, and compliance officers.

The system is designed to integrate into existing security workflows and support daily operations by structuring changes and responses around established processes.
