Rubrik introduces new MSP program and platform enhancements for cyber resilience

Rubrik enhances its platform with new features for MSPs, aiming to seize growth in the $258 billion global data protection market by 2027.

Rubrik has recently introduced several enhancements to its Security Cloud platform and partner programme. These developments are designed specifically for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and aim to support their capability in offering data protection and cyber resiliency services efficiently.

With the global market for MSP-driven data protection and cyber recovery services predicted to reach $258 billion by 2027, enterprises are increasingly reliant on MSPs to address growing cyber threats and compliance requirements. Rubrik's latest offerings aim to facilitate MSP growth by providing programme support, flexible licensing options, and integrated platform capabilities to strengthen their market position.

Alok Agrawal, Chief Solutions Officer at Rubrik, highlighted MSPs' pivotal role in today's cyber resilience landscape, noting that Rubrik aims to provide partners with a foundation to enhance service agility. This support includes several new programme and platform developments:

  • Improved Economics: The Rubrik MSP PayGo approach seeks to bypass initial cost barriers, allowing partners to start with zero minimums and scale as needed.
  • Rapid Incident Response: Continuous support from the Rubrik Ransomware Response Team to provide 24/7 assistance.
  • Modernised Framework: A revamped tier system for MSPs to recognise varying levels of dedication and performance.
  • Rubrik Verified: This new recognition programme to demonstrate MSPs’ operational maturity, helping reduce concerns during enterprise evaluations.

To support service delivery, Rubrik facilitates hybrid tenancy models through an integrated MSP Console, aiming to provide unified governance across diverse environments.

Rubrik's response comes as companies increasingly move from capital-intensive deployments to consumption-based models, seeking instant protection scalability. Expected to be operational by Summer 2026, the Rubrik Verified programme aims to further enhance MSP offerings.
