Keepit and Hammer distribution partner to enhance UK SaaS data resilience

Keepit forms a partnership with Hammer Distribution to strengthen cloud-native data protection and compliance for UK and Ireland.

Keepit, a cloud-native data protection and recovery provider, has announced a partnership with Hammer Distribution, a value-added distributor. The collaboration is intended to expand Keepit’s presence in the UK and Ireland by offering data recovery solutions designed for SaaS environments. It will support businesses in protecting their SaaS data and addressing regulatory requirements in the UK.

The partnership comes as demand for SaaS data protection increases. With data sovereignty becoming an important consideration for organisations, Keepit uses local data centres to provide a vendor-independent cloud solution aimed at supporting data resilience.

Keepit currently supports fourteen SaaS applications and plans to expand its platform by adding more applications, alongside introducing per-seat pricing to provide predictable costs for partners and customers. In the UK market, factors such as vendor independence, recovery speed, and regulatory compliance are key considerations addressed by its platform.

The Keepit Partner Network is intended to support resellers, managed service providers (MSPs), and distributors by strengthening their data protection capabilities. In the UK, the partnership is expected to increase collaboration with resellers and MSPs focused on cybersecurity.

Keepit is continuing to develop its partner network through this agreement with Hammer Distribution, with the aim of expanding its presence in the UK, supporting partners, and building long-term business relationships.

Hammer Distribution has identified growing demand for third-party SaaS backup solutions and considers the partnership an addition to its cybersecurity and data offerings. Keepit’s recovery solutions are being incorporated into Hammer’s portfolio as part of this collaboration.

Overall, the agreement is expected to expand Keepit’s operations in the UK and Ireland and contribute to the availability of data protection solutions for organisations in these regions.
