Veeam Securiti AI recognised in 2026 GigaOm DSPM radar

Veeam Software’s Securiti AI has been named a Leader and Fast Mover in the 2026 GigaOm Radar for Data Security Posture Management, marking its third consecutive year of recognition amid an expanded and more competitive vendor landscape.

Veeam Software was named a Leader and Fast Mover in the 2026 GigaOm Radar for Data Security Posture Management (DSPM). This represents the third consecutive year that Veeam’s Securiti AI has been recognised as a leader in this evaluation.

The GigaOm assessment expanded in scope, with the number of evaluated vendors increasing from 14 to 25, reflecting the increasing complexity of organisational data security. The evaluation considered challenges such as shadow data repositories and risks associated with AI assistants.

Within this broader set of vendors, Veeam’s Securiti AI received scores across key assessment areas, including Key Features (4.8/5), Emerging Features (4.7/5), and Business Criteria (4.8/5).

The evaluation highlighted several aspects of the platform. Its data lineage capabilities provide visibility into data flows across both structured and unstructured environments. Incident response analytics are used to assess potential data exposure in the event of a breach, supporting organisational response efforts.

The platform also supports on-premises repositories, with feature parity across different environments, which contributes to its coverage across deployment models. Based on the evaluation, GigaOm placed Securiti AI in the Innovation/Platform Play quadrant of its Radar.

The solution is built on an architecture referred to as the Data Command Graph, which is used to support data lineage and incident response functions. It includes multilayered AI security components, such as controls for managing interaction layers, and an Identity-Data Graph designed to manage non-human identities.

The platform is described in the report as being suited to larger and more complex environments, providing visibility across both approved and unapproved AI tools. It offers a unified control interface for data and AI systems, with capabilities including data discovery, access governance, configuration risk management, and AI security.
