Inevidesk launches partner programme to deliver high-performance VDI solutions

Overlooked in the hybrid-working revolution, organisations with demanding GPU requirements have been fixed to physical workstations for too long. Existing VDI solutions fall short when supporting high-performance working, such as for the powerful graphics and processing required for CAD and 3D modelling. And they come at exorbitant prices which cost out many organisations.

Inevidesk’s new partner programme addresses this head-on by enabling partners to offer high-performance virtual desktops at an accessible price point, so even organisations with the highest graphical needs can work flexibly without compromising on their digital experience.

Putting flexibility at the heart of its partner programme, partners can source Inevidesk’s bespoke-built hardware or integrate Inevidesk VDI service into their own hardware if preferred. They can leverage Inevidesk’s hosted services in their Tier 4 data centre and high performance and resilient IaaS or locate in their own data centre or customer site. Its Flexidesk solution, which launched in November 2023, also supports dynamic scaling with single virtual desktop provisioning for hosted customers.

Through a centralised Administration Portal, partners are offered simple and efficient virtual desktop estate deployment and management experience across their client base. This supports the quick set-up of virtual desktops using templates that can be cloned in just a few minutes. Users can be managed through active directory syncing.

Inevidesk’s virtual desktops also help partners meet their clients’ sustainability objectives, generating 62% less carbon than physical workstations, as well as reducing the environmental impact of manufacturing, packaging and hardware delivery.

Mark Adams, Co-Founder at Inevidesk, comments “We are excited to partner with best-in-class solution providers who share our vision of making high-performance virtual desktop infrastructure accessible to organisations with demanding GPU requirements. Together, we can empower businesses to remove the barriers to flexible and collaborative working practices to help them unlock business value.”

As part of the launch, Inevidesk announces its first strategic partner Scan, a specialist IT solutions provider.

Neil Christie, Solutions Director at Scan said, “Inevidesk is a perfect complement to our existing Scan Cloud offerings. It allows us to cater to a wider range of customer needs, especially those requiring a private cloud solution with enhanced data security. By combining Inevidesk with our 3XS systems, we can offer customers a one-stop shop for their workstation and VDI needs, delivered as a service with the benefits of cloud-based OPEX costs.”
