Assured Data Protection unveils new organisational structure to foster global growth

Assured Data Protection announces organisational changes to strengthen its growth trajectory, appointing Stacy Hayes as Chief Strategy Officer and expanding leadership roles in the Americas and EMEA.

Assured Data Protection (Assured), a leading IT managed services provider specialising in cloud data protection solutions, has unveiled strategic changes to its organisational structure. Designed to lay the groundwork for sustained growth, these adjustments position the company to seize strategic business opportunities more effectively.

Foremost among the changes is the appointment of Stacy Hayes, EVP Americas as the new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) – a global position crafted to direct the company's future trajectory alongside CEO, Simon Chappell. Stacy will oversee Assured's Innovation Team, manage OEM relationships, target emerging markets, and launch a public sector division, pivotal areas aimed at driving growth.

Complementing this shift, Brian Dutton will assume expanded leadership responsibilities as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) Americas, while Rob Mackle will take on the role of CRO, EMEA. These changes reflect Assured's ambitions to broaden its customer base and operational scope.

Chappell commented: “I’m delighted that Stacy is stepping into this vital new role at Assured. He’s a co-founder of our business and has been fundamental to our growth in the Americas. Now, as we enter a new phase of growth and expansion, underpinned by recent additional investment from Oakley Capital, Stacy will have the opportunity to oversee key pillars of the business and to help us grow and scale globally. I’m equally pleased that Brian Dutton will be stepping up in the organisation and continuing his outstanding work and that Rob Mackle will take on additional EMEA opportunities, where he’s already achieved great success.”

The organisational overhaul corresponds to robust growth patterns observed in both the Americas and EMEA regions, with rising demand for consumption-based IT services prompting the evolution. Assured's managed service offerings are specially designed to afford organisations the ability to offload critical, though not core, functions like data protection, cyber resiliency, and disaster recovery.

In pursuit of this growth strategy, Assured is capitalising on its proprietary orchestration and administration engine, AssuredView, which functions as a catalyst for innovation in new service deployments. A notable outcome of this strategic path is the collaboration with Nutanix, a hybrid-cloud computing firm, to deliver a unique disaster recovery solution that obviates the need for investment in new facilities or hardware.

As Rubrik’s largest MSP, Assured remains dedicated to operationalising Rubrik's Zero Trust Security solutions. A complementary growth strategy involves forming alliances with compatible technology innovators—avoiding competitors of Rubrik—to expand their managed service solutions portfolio. This focus is well-represented by the Assured and Nutanix partnership.

Stacy Hayes affirms the importance of his new role, emphasising the key responsibilities of formalising growth ambitions, managing successful Innovation Team initiatives, and cultivating pivotal OEM and market relationships. Stacy's integration into partner engagements marks a pivotal step forward in aligning Assured's managed services with evolving customer needs.
