Nebula pinpoints changing market dynamics for the rise in ‘Pay-as-you-go’

Global technology services firm launches remote managed services offering to the channel in response of changing buyer behaviours.

Technology channel services firm Nebula Global Services Limited has launched its latest Managed Service, a global Remote Managed Service focused on the support of leading security and networking platforms including Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, Juniper, Palo Alto and Check Point to name a few.

With network availability more critical than ever, and buyer journeys evolving, a growing number of end clients are demanding that more network and security issues are to be resolved remotely utilising consumption-based commercials. This is putting increased pressure on MSPs, VARs, GSI’s and the broader tech channel to provide a wider range of 24/7 technical skills that span an expansive technology and geographic footprint.

Ross Teague, CEO at Nebula Global Services shares his excitement of the new launch. “The cost to deliver Remote Managed Services is becoming increasingly challenging when considering the range of qualifying technology platforms and the price points that need to be achieved. The additional operational overhead required to achieve the desired outcome, such as team members, technical know-how, and around the clock availability, means partnering with a trusted channel services provider such as Nebula can be a sensible and more commercially viable option.”

According to EY, 52% of companies plan to move from subscription to consumption-based models within the next three years, aiming to better align with modern buying behaviours and deliver enhanced customer value.*

Key drivers stimulating the growth of consumption-basedRemote Managed Services include flexible commercial models, improved performance and reliability, cost efficiency and 24/7 access to expertise. To remain aligned to market demand, Managed Service Providers are increasingly looking to channel services firms to supplement their services portfolio. This situation has been amplified due to the recent cost-of-living crisis, and talent shortages.

With forthcoming business challenges on the horizon, such asthe pending National Insurance rise for businesses in the UK, MSPs and channel firms are going to have to explore and adopt more agile commercial and delivery models. This is why developing a more extensive and robust partner eco-system should be a paramount priority.

The primary market for Nebula’s Remote Managed Service is providing an in-depth Level 3 (L3) technical triage service. However, L1 & L2 services are also available for businesses looking to outsource their transactional service desk capabilities.

Teague goes on to say “Channel services providers have successfully existed for many years to supplement and enhance the service proposition of firms across the entire technology channel. Primarily this has been through the deployment of on-site services. However, the tide is turning, and remote managed services are now in high demand. That is why Nebula has invested heavily in developing our services portfolio to accommodate the needs of our channel partners, enabling us to provide an end-to-end solution on a global scale.”
