BCS, a leading provider of services to the digital infrastructure industry, has announced the appointment of Cezary Zieba as its new Country Manager for Poland. Zieba's role involves managing BCS' local clients and facilitating its dynamic expansion within the country.

Besides his responsibilities in Poland, Zieba is expected to bolster BCS' business strategies across the Central and Eastern European region. He will also participate in special projects in France, Romania, and the Middle East.

Zieba brings a wealth of experience to BCS. With a strong engineering background and over two decades of leadership across various sectors in EMEA and CEE/RuCIS, he is well-suited for his new role. His remarkable stint includes serving as the CEO and General Manager for Johnson Matthey Battery Systems, a standalone division of Johnson Matthey. Zieba has also held senior positions at reputed companies such as Honeywell, 3M, and SGS.

Commenting on his appointment Cezary said: “BCS has an open and supportive culture alongside a determination and passion to deliver exceptional projects in this exciting marketplace which is a rare combination. There are huge opportunities for the data centre sector in the Central and Eastern European region which is hungry to close the gap and is starting to transform its infrastructure as it moves from fossil fuels to embrace renewable power. I am excited to be supporting BCS during these exciting times.”

BCS’ Director of Project Management, Chris Coward, commented positively on Zieba's appointment, emphasizing that while BCS expands "it is important that we have the right people in place to support our teams with local knowledge and expertise"

The data center industry in the Central and Eastern European region is poised for significant growth, and BCS, with its strategic appointments and focused leadership, is set to play a pivotal role in this transformation.
