SailPoint, Inc. (Nasdaq: SAIL), acknowledged as a front-runner in enterprise identity security, launched its 2025 Navigate series with the unveiling of its forward-looking vision for the security landscape. Central to this is the SailPoint Platform, leveraging identity-first, data-first security fortified with AI to equip enterprises in effectively managing access, pinpointing risks, and countering threats.

The company rolled out several innovations including SailPoint Agent Identity Security and SailPoint Observability & Insights, along with substantial augmentations to both the Data Access Security and Atlas offerings.

The classical boundaries of enterprise networks are outdated. Today, identities span humans, machines, and AI agents, accessing vast arrays of applications and data, creating new attack surfaces. Without integrating identity and security contexts, organisations are vulnerable amidst burgeoning AI advancements.

To address this, SailPoint proposes an adaptive identity model. This model melds identity, data, and security for continuous, context-driven protection. SailPoint's EVP of Product and CTO, Chandra Gnanasambandam, highlighted this approach, stressing its relevance in a decentralised, data-rich, and ever-evolving threat environment.

SailPoint introduces several innovations, underscoring its commitment to equipping clients for dynamic threats.

At the core is Atlas, enhanced with Atlas Enterprise. This encompasses Dynamic Security Orchestration and a Shared Signals Framework, facilitating customised governance and real-time threat response. Atlas Workflows enhance security with Adaptive Approvals, aligning approvals with risk and business context.

The MCP Server further extends identity capabilities to AI environments, safeguarding data integrity whilst maximising AI utility.

SailPoint Agent Identity Security uniquely tackles security for AI agents, entities capable of autonomous decisions and new agent creation. AIS allows for discovery, governance, and agent security, ensuring trust and compliance as AI integrates further into workplaces.

Observability & Insights enhance understanding of identity and access relationships, enabling least-privilege policies and risk reduction. Integrated with external systems, this solution empowers teams for precise identity management.

SailPoint Data Access Security offers granular visibility into user and agent data access, enhanced with Snowflake integration for structured data management, reinforcing governance and minimising data leakage risks.

  • Privilege Security Posture Management aims to bolster least privilege adherence, enhancing access control.
  • Real-time Authorisation will dynamically evaluate access requests, ensuring adaptive access response aligned with contextual signals.
  • Real-time Threat Defence will focus on identifying and containing threats leveraging identity-focused context.

These advancements promise a fortified security posture, integrating identity and security operations more cohesively than ever before.
