Entuity Software V23.0 adds remote agents and streaming telemetry

Park Place Technologies has released Entuity Software V23.0, adding remote agent architecture, streaming telemetry and configuration management updates to extend infrastructure monitoring across distributed environments.

Park Place Technologies has revealed a series of enhancements to its Entuity Software, a solutions provider for data centre monitoring and management. Dubbed V23.0, the latest release amplifies the platform’s capabilities, making it more adaptive to contemporary IT challenges.

Enhanced Agent Architecture introduces remote polling agents, aiming for enhanced monitoring of servers, OS, and storage even in remote environments. This lightweight, flexible approach means that teams can manage IT assets from diverse locations. Deployed agents seek to establish secure connections to the principal system, enabling central management without burdening resources.

Intended key features of Version 23.0 include streamlined telemetry data processing, user-friendly dashboards, and advanced device support. The client can now exploit Telegraf, an agent from InfluxData, enhancing the system’s capability to receive granular, real-time telemetry data across various infrastructures. This compatibility aims to expand the horizons of asset monitoring, empowering organisations to obtain further insights.

Improvements to configuration management provide users with a more organised interface, allowing task scheduling for enhanced scalability and performance. The software further enables monitoring local hosts with enhanced security measures, reducing the need to store impactful credentials, such as administrative or root level permissions.

Additionally, streaming telemetry features support integrative modules like Cisco Model-Driven Telemetry (MDT), strengthening real-time data visibility. The  integration with User Defined Data Receivers means extended adaptability for incoming data.

With these advancements, Entuity Software V23.0 is more efficient in supporting servers, storage systems, and assorted network devices, presenting a coverage solution for crucial infrastructure.

Park Place Technologies continues to develop resource management tools based on customer feedback and operational needs. Existing clients with maintenance contracts can upgrade to the newest version without incurring additional expenses.
