Alteryx Reveals AI Insights Agent on Google Cloud Marketplace

Alteryx launches AI Insights Agent on Google Cloud Marketplace, aiming to bridge the gap between AI capabilities and enterprise readiness.

Alteryx has introduced the Alteryx AI Insights Agent, now available via Google Cloud Marketplace. The integration brings governed analytics into Gemini Enterprise, supporting enterprise use cases for AI adoption.

As organisations increasingly adopt AI for decision-making, a tension between speed and trust has emerged. While generative AI is being used in workplace operations, its application in enterprise environments can present challenges around accuracy, governance, and control, and may not always align consistently with business metrics or operational requirements.

A number of business leaders highlight the importance of high-quality, accessible, and well-governed data for AI to deliver value at scale. This points to a gap between the capabilities of AI tools and their readiness for enterprise deployment.

The Alteryx AI Insights Agent aims to enable information workers to define governed datasets and business logic within the Alteryx One framework. These are then executed in response to user queries within Gemini Enterprise. Rather than generating insights directly from raw data, the system uses in-place analytics. It runs predefined workflows on platforms such as BigQuery, with the aim of producing outputs aligned with business metrics without additional data movement or manual processing.

Key capabilities include:

  • Delivering consistent responses based on enterprise data
  • Enabling access to insights within Gemini Enterprise
  • Applying analyst-defined business logic, definitions, and guardrails
  • Supporting governance through auditability, predictability, and control in AI-driven decision-making

Availability through Google Cloud Marketplace aims to provide a standardised route for organisations to deploy, manage, and scale AI solutions on Google Cloud infrastructure.

For business analysts and operations teams, the AI Insights Agent extends existing Alteryx capabilities into AI-enabled decision-making workflows.

For IT and data teams, it offers a route to support AI adoption within governed frameworks. The release follows the introduction of in-place analytics on BigQuery earlier in the year and forms part of ongoing development work involving Alteryx and Google Cloud, including planned updates such as Alteryx One: Google Edition.
