PRD Technologies partners with GoCardless to streamline telecom payment solutions

PRD Technologies has partnered with GoCardless to support automated payment solutions for telecoms and MSPs, aiming to reduce billing-related issues and improve operational processes.

PRD Technologies, known for its Intelligent Billing platform, has announced a collaboration with GoCardless to support automated payment collection for telecoms providers and managed service providers (MSPs).

In the telecom industry, managing recurring billing across large customer databases can present ongoing operational challenges. The collaboration is positioned as addressing these issues within the channel.

At present, failed payments and manual collection retries can affect cash flow and require additional administrative effort. Through integration with GoCardless, Intelligent Billing supports automated Direct Debit and instant bank transactions, with the aim of reducing failed collections and associated manual processes.

For businesses using recurring revenue models, the platform is designed to accelerate the book-to-bill cycle and improve payment success rates. It also provides real-time visibility of billing activity and streamlines financial operations, with the intention of improving the customer experience.

Simon Adams, Managing Director of PRD Technologies, said: "Telecoms providers and MSPs run on recurring revenue, so getting billing right isn’t just an administrative task – it’s business-critical. By integrating GoCardless into Intelligent Billing, our clients can fully automate payment collection, reduce failures and gain greater control over their cash flow. This allows them to focus on growth and customer service rather than chasing payments."

Through the partnership with GoCardless, PRD Technologies provides integration of its payment processes with existing systems, including compatibility with Crossbeam, its partner ecosystem.

The collaboration extends the capabilities of Intelligent Billing as an automated billing solution for telecom and MSP organisations.
