Cycloid, the Internal Developer Portal and Platform (IDP) company, has appointed Isabelle Perie as Channel and Partnerships director. The hire underlines Cycloid's commitment to building a structured partner ecosystem, as the company scales its reach into the system integrators, managed service providers and cloud partners delivering the largest platform engineering and cloud transformation projects across Europe.

Perie joins from a career spent building partner ecosystems for some of enterprise software's most recognised names, including HP, ServiceNow and Okta. An engineer by training, she has held pre-sales, project management and partnerships leadership roles, giving her a rare combination of technical credibility and commercial pedigree that Cycloid intends to put to work across its channel alliances strategy.

The role comes with a clear remit to structure and scale Cycloid's partner ecosystem across five core segments of system integrators (SIs), global systems integrators (GSIs) managed service providers (MSPs), technical partners and cloud partners, with a particular focus on the sovereign cloud providers responding to growing European demand for data sovereignty and compliance.

Cycloid already counts 7 of the top 10 GSIs and MSPs as partners, including Capgemini, Accenture and NTT alongside regional partners in UKI, South Europe and North America. Perie will lead the work to deepen those relationships and bring new strategic partners into the fold.

"What attracted me to Cycloid is the clear opportunity in front of the company," said Isabelle Perie, Channel and Partnerships director at Cycloid. "Platform engineering is moving from a technical conversation to a strategic one, and the SIs, MSPs and sovereign cloud providers helping organisations create the next generation of enterprise platforms are going to need a foundation they can build on. My role is to make sure that Cycloid is that foundation, and to develop the ecosystem that lets us scale with them."

Cycloid's new channel-first approach reflects a broader market shift which is seeing enterprises increasingly invest in platform engineering. Prospective channel partners delivering those programmes increasingly need a productised IDP they can roll out quickly, rather than building one from scratch for every customer engagement. For SIs, GSIs and MSPs, Cycloid offers both a differentiator in competitive bids and a delivery accelerator for any projects that are jointly won.

"Isabelle brings exactly the experience we need at this stage of Cycloid's growth," explained Benjamin Brial, Founder of Cycloid. "She has built and scaled partner ecosystems at companies that defined their categories, and understands that great partnerships are commercial relationships first and technical ones second. With Isabelle leading our channel strategy, Cycloid is well placed to grow alongside the partners shaping enterprise platform engineering across Europe."
