ArmorPoint welcomes new Chief Sales Officer Stephan Tallent

ArmorPoint LLC announces Stephan Tallent as its new CSO, aiming to build growth and enhance customer and partner success.

ArmorPoint has appointed Stephan Tallent as the new Chief Sales Officer (CSO). The appointment is part of ArmorPoint’s plans to support growth and enhance customer acquisition.

Prior to joining ArmorPoint, Stephan worked at Cyware, overseeing Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP) and Global System Integration (GSI). With over 20 years of experience, he has worked in the cybersecurity domain, particularly within the MSSP landscape and channel ecosystem. Stephan has overseen global partner programs, incident response and threat intelligence teams, and provided guidance to organisations on emerging cybersecurity risks.

In addition, Stephan holds several industry certifications and recognitions relevant to his expertise. In 2025, he earned recognition as part of the CRN Channel Chiefs list, honouring IT vendor and distribution executives for strategic channel strategies. His professional repertoire also includes maintaining the CISSP and CTIA certifications.

David Trapp, CEO of ArmorPoint, expressed enthusiasm at the beginning of the year with the new addition to their team. With ArmorPoint positioned to expand its solutions and services, Stephan’s track record of sales leadership is anticipated to enhance customer and partner success.

Stephan's newly acquired role takes immediate effect, following Ashley Capps's transition from interim Chief Revenue Officer to Chief Marketing Officer. He will be responsible for supporting ArmorPoint’s growth and ongoing service initiatives.

Stephan himself signifies excitement as he embraces his role, emphasising ArmorPoint’s dedication to delivering cybersecurity solutions to partners and clients alike.

This leadership transition aims to support ArmorPoint’s operations in the cybersecurity sector and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
