Westcon-Comstor expands partnership with Weblib via AWS Marketplace

Westcon-Comstor expands its relationship with Weblib, becoming the exclusive distributor of Weblib’s Smart Wifi solution on AWS Marketplace, aiming to support partner access and growth in EMEA and beyond.

Westcon-Comstor, a technology distributor specialising in cybersecurity, networking, and hybrid cloud solutions, has announced an expansion of its collaboration with Weblib. This venture is facilitated through an AWS Marketplace agreement, aiming to foster partner development and growth.

Under this agreement, Westcon-Comstor has become a distributor able to list Weblib's software offerings privately on AWS Marketplace. Consequently, partners within the UK and markets across Europe and the Middle East can now acquire and sell Weblib’s cloud-based Smart Wifi solution via AWS Marketplace. This process aims to facilitate a streamlined and complete transaction experience for partners and their customers.

Paris-based Weblib has joined Westcon-Comstor’s AWS Marketplace programme, which was launched to simplify partner access to AWS Marketplace. Other technology participants include Cisco and Juniper Networks, contributing additional expertise to the programme.

As projected by Omdia, channel partners are set to manage 59% of the anticipated $163 billion spend on hyperscaler cloud marketplaces by 2030. Westcon-Comstor’s programme provides partners with support for this growth, offering tools aimed at faster deal closures and potentially improved returns on investment.

Based on the AWS Designated Seller of Record model, the programme aims to offer partners a suite of support, including advisory services by an in-house team. Recent advancements include an introduction of multi-currency capabilities and support for multi-product solutions, seeking to enable partners to curate comprehensive offerings suitable for various industries and client requirements.

The long-standing relationship between Westcon-Comstor and Weblib began in France and was extended across the EMEA region last year. Weblib’s technology provides complete network control alongside valuable, compliant insights into user behaviour. Sectors such as retail, hospitality, education, and healthcare seek to benefit, supporting customer satisfaction and more efficient operations.
