Assured data protection expands Giannini’s innovation and channel role

Assured Data Protection updates leadership structure, giving Giannini oversight of innovation and partner programs.

Assured Data Protection, a managed service provider specialising in data protection, disaster recovery, and cyber resilience, has elevated Tony Giannini to a key leadership role. Giannini will now serve as both Global Vice President of Innovation and Vice President of Channels, Americas, a move aimed at aligning the company’s innovation drive with its partner-focussed market strategies.

In his newly expanded capacity, Giannini will oversee Assured’s channel initiatives across North America, Canada, and Latin America. His leadership hopes to integrate innovation, product strategy, and partner involvement, a leadership change designed to align Assured’s product development with partner engagement.

Giannini, who has more than a decade’s experience in senior channel roles, is positioned to drive Assured's channel ecosystem growth. Before joining Assured, his experience spanned across the MSP, reseller, and alliance landscapes, leveraging close collaborations with service providers, distributors, and technology partners.

The combined oversight of innovation and channel functions allows Assured to coordinate more closely between partners and its innovation pipeline. This alignment helps ensure that new services reflect partner and customer input and support practical adoption.

His operational structure supports partner enablement for new services and facilitates the adoption of Assured’s service offerings across multi-platform environments.

Under Giannini’s leadership, Assured’s channel strategy in the Americas will focus on growth aligned with its managed services approach and core technology alliances. Aided by a foundation of trust-based partnerships, this approach aims to ensure enduring partner and customer success, translating to indicators such as low customer churn and CSAT figures nearing the pinnacle.

Assured aims to retain its channel-first model by fostering long-standing relationships with partners beyond mere transactional exchanges. By converging sales, services, and customer success under one strategic umbrella, the company seeks to consolidate its status as a dependable provider.

The company continues working with key national partners while developing regional partners in major U.S. cities and expanding its presence in Canada and Latin America.

The evolving leadership roles, steered by Giannini, signify Assured's commitment to a partner-led growth strategy in response to burgeoning demand for comprehensive managed services.
