Westcon-Comstor Tech Insights: a strategic channel partner asset

Westcon-Comstor launches Tech Insights, a programme for channel partners to assess IT environments and identify potential risks.

Westcon-Comstor, a global technology distributor, has launched Tech Insights, a programme designed to help channel partners identify and address IT risks. Available to partners in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), this programme aims to leverage advanced capabilities to streamline IT assessments.

Designed with simplicity, speed, and scalability in mind, Tech Insights seeks to establishes a platform where MSPs can explore new revenue opportunities by addressing customer IT environment vulnerabilities. The initiative provides customer-ready outputs that support ongoing deals and identify potential upsell and cross-sell opportunities for high-margin services.

Channel partners can conduct evaluations of their customers’ security posture and AI data readiness. The Tech Insights programme provides assessments that include insights, prioritised recommendations, and validation across multiple vendors in real-world scenarios.

One of the key benefits is a depiction of gaps in areas such as cloud, identity, application, and data security. Customers can understand their risk profiles and receive recommendations to shore up their security infrastructures — achieved with negligible disruptions to live environments.

Tech Insights' assessments comply with industry standards such as GDPR and NIS2, enhancing targeted budget conversations by pinpointing specific, evidenced gaps. This alignment ensures partners can actively guide their customers in addressing IT concerns.

As the latest addition to Westcon-Comstor's suite of value-added services in the EMEA region, Tech Insights aims to complement existing offerings like the virtual solution demonstration platform 3D Lab, and the Intelligent Demand programme. The community-driven initiative Tech Xpert also continues to foster peer-to-peer knowledge sharing.
