Veeam Software welcomes Piero Gallucci as Regional VP for UK & Ireland

Veeam Software appoints Piero Gallucci as Regional VP for UK and Ireland, aiming to strengthen its leadership in data resilience.

Veeam Software announced the appointment of Piero Gallucci as Regional Vice President for the United Kingdom and Ireland. With over 25 years of experience in sales, channel management, and enterprise technology, Piero is set to steer Veeam's operations in the UK&Ireland, helping ensure customers achieve optimal data resilience, security, and business continuity.

Prior to joining Veeam, Piero held roles at NetApp as Area Vice President and General Manager for the UK & Ireland, where he orchestrated strategic growth and customer success initiatives. His journey included a key tenure at VMware Tanzu as Vice President, EMEA Sales, where he was integral to cloud-native transformation. His earlier roles at Docker as Vice President and GM, EMEA & APAC, further exemplified his leadership.

Piero's career path also includes influential roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, serving seven years as Director & Head of Sales for the Financial Services sector. His expertise extended as he took on responsibilities with Intel Corporation, focusing on the banking and retail sectors across EMEA.

An alumnus of Oxford Brookes University, Piero holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management and Operations.
