IPTel solutions upgrade with Highlight's service platform

IPTel Solutions adopts the Highlight platform to strengthen service transparency and enhance managed services.

Highlight has announced that IPTel Solutions, a provider of wireless networking services in Australia, has integrated the Highlight Service Observability Platform to support its managed services strategy. As a provider of Cisco and Meraki Wi-Fi solutions across the region, the integration reflects IPTel’s approach to developing its service capabilities and supporting its growth plans.

The Highlight platform enables IPTel to deliver managed services with greater transparency, supported by monitoring, alerting and service visibility tools. Customers can choose to have IPTel fully manage their services or use the platform themselves to gain improved operational insight.

Deployment of the platform was completed within two months, from initial evaluation to going live, allowing IPTel to meet its project timelines. Highlight now operates across IPTel’s own infrastructure and customer environments, using multi-tenancy features to manage multiple organisations from a single platform.

Costa Athanassiou, Chief Operating Officer at IPTel Solutions, explained that the company previously used LogicMonitor but sought an alternative as its contract came to an end. He noted that while LogicMonitor supported engineering teams, IPTel required a solution that was more accessible to broader stakeholders. Highlight presents technical information in a structured format, focusing on locations and services rather than only physical infrastructure, with visual reporting designed for senior decision makers such as CIOs and CTOs.

Transparency is central to IPTel’s managed service approach. “We don’t want to hide behind the curtain,” adds Costa. “We want to be open and transparent about the services we’re providing. Highlight allows us to show customers what’s happening, have more meaningful conversations, and demonstrate the broader value of our managed services in a way that builds trust.”
