Cavelo supports wellbeing in the cybersecurity industry with MSP well sponsorship

Cavelo sponsors MSP Well to promote mental health and wellbeing among MSP and MSSP professionals amidst industry pressures.

Cavelo, a provider of data security posture management (DSPM) solutions for MSPs and MSSPs, has announced its sponsorship of MSP Well. The community-led initiative is focused on supporting mental health, resilience and overall wellbeing among IT and cybersecurity professionals working within the Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) sectors.

Established by experienced industry professionals familiar with the operational pressures of the channel, MSP Well was created in response to ongoing concerns around burnout, stress and the demands associated with being continuously available. The initiative is supported by MSPs, MSSPs, vendors, media organisations and channel partners through board participation, content contributions and sponsorship.

IT and cybersecurity professionals operate in high-pressure environments, managing client expectations, responding to cyber threats and balancing operational responsibilities. However, discussion of mental health and emotional resilience within the sector has historically been limited. MSP Well aims to provide a structured and supportive forum where professionals can:

  • Connect with peers who understand the pressures of the industry
  • Access curated mental health and wellbeing resources
  • Participate in community discussions and events
  • Encourage more open conversation around mental health within the channel
In addition to technical risks, factors such as burnout and emotional fatigue can affect service delivery, workplace culture and long-term business sustainability. By promoting dialogue and offering practical support resources, MSP Well intends to support both individual wellbeing and the wider MSP community.

“MSP Well was created to normalize the conversation around stress and mental health in our industry,” said Cavelo CEO James Mignacca. “We’ve all felt the pressure. The community exists so no one has to carry it alone.”

Continuity in IT and cybersecurity involves both technical and human considerations. By supporting the wellbeing of IT and security professionals, initiatives such as MSP Well aim to contribute to the stability and sustainability of the broader channel ecosystem.
