CybaVerse rebrands to strengthen cyber operations

CybaVerse pivots from consultancy-led defence to platform-driven operations with its rebrand, emphasising control over cyber security.

UK cyber security vendor CybaVerse has announced a rebranding initiative. The change reflects a shift from a consultancy-led defence model to an approach focused on platform-driven cyber operations.

In recent years, cyber security has involved a growing number of tools, dashboards, and alerts. This has increased visibility but has also introduced complexity, as systems do not always integrate effectively. As a result, security teams may face challenges managing and coordinating these tools.

In response, CybaVerse has outlined a role it refers to as the “Cyber Operator”. This role focuses on managing environments and responding to outcomes, rather than monitoring alone.

The rebranding also reflects broader changes in how security teams operate, with a move toward more integrated roles within organisations rather than standalone defensive functions.

The company’s platform, CybaOps, is designed to bring together different aspects of security operations into a single model. Its features include automation and orchestration, AI-based insights, and incident response capabilities intended to support threat prioritisation.

This development follows a £5 million Series A funding round and the acquisition of SecureAck, which adds capabilities in alert management and tool integration. Founded in 2018, CybaVerse works with a customer base that includes managed service providers (MSPs).

The rebranding is also linked to the company’s plans to expand the CybaOps platform for MSPs and mid-market organisations seeking to manage security operations. CybaVerse was named a finalist in the CRN Channel Awards 2025 in the Rising Star Security Vendor of the Year category.
