Cisco introduces sovereign critical infrastructure portfolio across EMEA

Cisco has announced its Sovereign Critical Infrastructure portfolio targeting organisations in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Cisco has launched its Sovereign Critical Infrastructure (SCI) portfolio for customers in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region. The offering is intended to support organisations operating digital infrastructure with a focus on data control and system autonomy.

The SCI portfolio brings together a range of Cisco product areas, including networking, security, compute, collaboration, network management, AI, and capabilities from Splunk. It is designed to be configurable for deployment in air-gapped, on-premises environments.

The initiative includes support from Cisco’s Customer Experience (CX) organisation, providing technical assistance for customers operating sovereign environments, including air-gapped, on-premises, and hybrid setups.

Cisco has also expanded its Critical National Services Centers (CNSCs) across the EMEA region. Existing centres are located in the UK, France, Spain, and Italy, building on a model first developed in Germany. These centres aim to provide support services for sovereignty-focused environments, with controlled access facilities and teams of cleared personnel.
