Arrow Electronics expands distribution agreement with Bitdefender

Arrow Electronics expands its partnership with Bitdefender, aiming to strengthen its cyber security offerings in the UK and Ireland.

Arrow Electronics has announced an augmentation of its distribution agreement with Bitdefender, aimed at enhancing its cyber security portfolio across the UK and Ireland. The expanded agreement now includes termed licences covering the entire Bitdefender portfolio.

Previously, the agreement was primarily centred on monthly licences delivered through ArrowSphere Cloud, catering primarily to the MSP market. With this extension, channel partners are offered greater flexibility to better meet a broad spectrum of customer needs.

The suite of offerings available to channel partners includes security solutions for prevention, detection, and response. This enhanced portfolio amalgamates endpoint protection, XDR, MDR, with cyber risk management capabilities. Additional features include dynamic hardening and continuous threat exposure management, aligning with evolving compliance and security requirements.

This agreement strengthens Arrow’s cybersecurity portfolio through the addition of an established vendor and may create new opportunities for engagement with channel partners across the region.

The collaboration represents a development for Arrow and could provide its channel partners with tools to address a broader range of customer requirements within the UK and Ireland markets.
