WatchGuard's zero trust bundle transforms security landscape

WatchGuard introduces a Zero Trust solution to streamline and enhance organisational security.

WatchGuard Technologies has unveiled the WatchGuard Zero Trust Bundle, a revolutionary offering designed to simplify zero trust deployment for organisations, irrespective of their size. Historically, the path to achieving zero trust has been marred by costly and complex integrations of various tools. This latest innovation seeks to unify these functionalities, creating a cohesive, cloud-driven security framework.

The urgency of adopting a more comprehensive security posture is underscored by the latest findings from WatchGuard's Internet Security Report. It highlights a significant surge in evasive malware, with a 40% increase quarter-over-quarter. Moreover, the report indicates that 70% of malware now bypasses traditional defences by exploiting encrypted channels, making an integrated, continuously validating approach essential.

Building on the recent launch of FireCloud Total Access, WatchGuard's Zero Trust Bundle provides a modern, hassle-free route to zero trust, eliminating the cumbersome complexity that often accompanies traditional enterprise systems.

The bundle's architecture brings together identity assurance, device integrity, and secure access within a unified cloud framework. Notably, a single agent deploys the entire solution, ensuring seamless integration across varied environments.

Total Identity Security: Featured tools include Adaptive MFA, Single Sign-On (SSO), risk assessment, and Dark Web Credential Monitoring.

EPDR: Employing Endpoint Protection, Detection & Response for robust device health validation and threat neutralisation.

FireCloud Total Access: Offers cutting-edge, cloud-delivered FWaaS and ZTNA, enabling rapid, context-sensitive access in place of traditional VPNs.

These capabilities are powered through the combination of WatchGuard Cloud and ThreatSync XDR, facilitating automated, efficient, and multi-tenant operations. The introduction of Dark Web Credential Monitoring within AuthPoint bolsters security by detecting exposed credentials earlier in the lifecycle.

The Zero Trust Bundle delivers tangible benefits by producing enterprise-grade outcomes without accompanying complexity. From risk-based access decisions to optimised device protection and faster threat containment, this model ensures both security and profitability for MSPs.
