Strategic alliance boosts SaaS data protection for French channel

Keepit partners with Ingram Micro to extend its data protection solution to French resellers and MSPs, enhancing reach and robustness.

Keepit, cloud-native data protection and recovery provider, has entered into a strategic partnership with Ingram Micro in France. This collaboration aims to bolster Keepit’s capabilities in connecting with French resellers, managed service providers (MSPs), and managed security service providers (MSSPs). Through Ingram Micro’s extensive local channel infrastructure, they will provide a comprehensive SaaS data protection solution.

Under this agreement, Ingram Micro France will incorporate Keepit’s cloud backup and recovery platform into its portfolio. The partnership will also offer support in marketing, sales, distribution, and partner enablement. This will furnish partners with increased flexibility in acquiring and bundling Keepit’s offerings. French VARs, MSPs, and MSSPs are positioned to benefit from seamless access to vendor-independent data protection services, bolstered by Ingram Micro’s localised support and financing solutions.

Ingram Micro’s integration of Keepit into its Network and Security portfolio provides an enhancement. This union empowers French channel partners to better secure their customers’ critical business applications and aims to provide a future-ready approach to data protection. By doing so, Keepit addresses the pronounced need for secure and adaptable data protection solutions prevalent among French organisations.

The significance of this partnership is further highlighted by the emphasis on data sovereignty, compliance, and resilience in France. Keepit's architecture supports these requirements via a system that bypasses middleware and enforces data immutability.

This alliance not only enhances Keepit’s footprint in France but also in its Partner Network across EMEA, North America, and ANZ. It underscores Keepit’s commitment to providing robust, cloud-native data protection, empowering resellers, MSPs, and distributors globally.
