Opus Technology achieves B Corp certification

Opus Technology has earned B Corp status, joining a global community aiming for ethical and sustainable business practices.

Opus Technology has achieved Certified B Corporation (B Corp) status, a certification that assesses social and environmental performance.

The Surrey-based company completed a nearly three-year accreditation process with B Lab UK, involving a multi-stage submission and review. The process was led internally by Head of People Bridget Dale and Sustainability and Community Impact Manager Hannah O'Donnell. The certification places Opus Technology among more than 10,000 B Corp organisations globally.

The company supports over 900 clients from its Reigate headquarters and London office, providing managed IT, contact centre, unified communications, business mobile, and managed print services. Its client base includes organisations such as Which?, All Saints, and CIPD.

B Corp certification reflects requirements to meet defined standards across social and environmental impact, governance, and accountability. It also requires ongoing assessment, measurement, and recertification.

The certification forms part of Opus Technology’s broader Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) activities. These include ISO 14001 environmental management accreditation, hybrid working practices, and plans to transition to electric-only company vehicles.

The company has also implemented staff volunteering initiatives and sponsors research at Polar Bears International. Opus Technology is a Living Wage employer and holds Disability Confident Committed status.
