Wasabi Technologies strengthens cyber resilience across EMEA

Wasabi Technologies enhances EMEA partner ecosystem with solutions to tackle cyber threats and support AI-driven data growth.

Wasabi Technologies, known for its cloud storage services, has expanded its presence in the EMEA region. The company focuses on cyber resilience in response to challenges such as increasing ransomware incidents, the growth of AI-related data, and cost pressures.

The 2026 Wasabi Global Cloud Storage Index reports several findings for European organisations, including that 42% experienced cyberattacks that resulted in cloud data loss, and 92% are currently storing or protecting AI-related data. These figures reflect increased adoption of AI and corresponding data security considerations.

To address market demand, Wasabi provides solutions for managed service providers (MSPs), value-added resellers (VARs), distributors, and system integrators. These offerings combine enterprise-oriented data protection features with flexible deployment options. One capability included is Covert Copy, a patent-pending feature designed to protect critical data during security incidents.

Partnerships with Commvault and integration work with Synology form part of its approach to cyber resilience. These collaborations aim to support deployment and data protection workflows for customers and partners.

Wasabi has also introduced Account Control Manager Self-Activation, which provides multi-tenant management capabilities and streamlined onboarding for partners.

The company’s partner programme includes features such as zero egress fees and an architecture designed for scalable cloud storage. These elements are positioned to support partners in delivering data storage and protection services across different use cases, including data protection and AI-related workloads.
